I like European villages by the water and I like alleyways or village scenes. I look for the right papers to show the myriad of textures and surfaces that one might find in a village scene.

Everyday Life

Sometimes the ordinary moments in life are the ones that I try to capture. Putting laundry on the line, waiting for a bus, a performer waiting to go on stage - these are the kinds of images of people that I like to portray.

Nature

Trees have always been an important theme in my work. I like the bare trees of winter best, but I also like a simple flower or a rocky shore by the sea.
